On BTC Block 647,500 — so approximately September 9th around 22:00 UTC, the DeFiChain Foundation will be doing a FREE Airdrop for all Bitcoin hodlers!
It is our mission to bring DeFi to Bitcoin, and with that, we are certainly moving one step further towards that goal.
Important Information regarding the Airdrop
We will be giving away 500 DFI per 1 BTC, with a maximum of 100 BTC to exclude exchanges & whales.
The 9th September around 22:00 UTC (more precisely BTC Block 647,500) is only the snapshot date. Until then, you just need to be in control of your Bitcoin (or have them at official partners like Cake) and don’t need to do anything else.
You have until the end of the year to claim your DFI, and will find detailed instructions on how to do so on our website once the airdrop starts.

You must control the Bitcoin with your own private key — the only exceptions being partners like Cake DeFi who will forward you 100% of the Airdrop completely free and without you having to do anything.

And by the way: there are no minimum amounts — even with only a tiny fraction of 1 BTC, you can claim your DFI. Every Satoshi counts!
